So its almost a month since I last made an entry, I'm kinda slacking and being totally lazy. No excuses really, I literally am just being lazy with updating!
The update came and went, and the new Zeni NM System is actually pretty nice, the gear from it is nice, I'm kinda annoyed they made a new set of Legs for SMN that are actually good for people who dont wanna/cant get ahold of Marduk Legs (Sure make an alternative but dont make them the same damn piece for free >.<), they have the RDM JSE model tho so I'll stick with my Sexy Marduk thank you!
Other stuff from the update is pretty much, well, after a few days forgotten, the BRD JA Is nice tho I must admit that, especially for the one Melee in the Tank PT being able to give them something other than a Ballad they have no use for is nice.
One thing that pissed me off, WHERES MY DNC MERITS!?!?! Grrr. So yea I used those 10 I was sitting on to Cap Shellra again from LV3 to the new LV5 cap.
We did our Second Odin, who was nice enough to give us another E.Body!
Yup I got me some Shadow Clogs for BRD, Pretty nice piece, shame they are extremely fugly ;; lol
Been doing the regular Salvage/Limbus/Dyna/Ein runs, did Dyna Valk this past Saturday and I actually got to go on THF, which was really nice since I rarely, aside from the odd Salvage run, get to use THF within LS events, Sure I'm not the best geared out of our LS THF's (C'mon Omega gimme a Corazza and let my lot be a winner! =P ) but getting to play it made it something fun, and actually was my first Valk where I wasn't a Mage so it was literally like playing that zone for the first time everything is so different pulling and stuff.
Yup, thats Skadi Feet there, Salvage was actually nice and dropped the 35 piece for me, everytime it has dropped recently I've not been able to go due to either R/L Things or being in Nyzul during an Arra run.
And Yep thats Enkidu's Harness, I've done a shit load of ZNM and the other day got myself 5/5 Enkidu which is pretty sweet for DNC and some pieces are good for other stuff, like Body is nice for THF until I can get my hands on Corazza anyway.
We did some ZNM Hydra's last week one of which was mine which was nice enough to drop an Alkalurops for me, which I actually sold in hope of getting some Ingots for Jubbah, but Meh just as I finally get some money for Ingots the greedy mofo Smither's Jacked up the price by a ton putting Jubbah out of reach again :(
So we decided as an LS to go for the ToAU Beastmen Kings, something different, and well for our first one we went for Medusa, no Strat, no idea, nothing really just went for it and well we only took an few people and it did not end well, seems you need an outside Add's group for her Add's...was a lot of fun but damn, it hurt lol.

Waking up Early! It sucks, I have a killer headache and only got like 3 hours sleep, WTF it blows.
So this coming Monday is the looooong awaited Version Update, and pre-update a lot of it looks too good to be true, and sadly with SE's past record, this is likely gonna be the case, not often they deliver pure awesomeness, there's always a secret nerf or something they fuck up in the process of making something good!
But anyway regardless I can't wait for the update, does indeed (All skeptisism{sp?!} aside) look like its gonna be awesome, the Ixion thing has me hoping the hype is gonna be true and it's a new Avatar, however I don't reckon it will be, I have this odd feeling it'll be random roaming NM just like Dark Rider was, only time will tell I guess?!
Anyway I'm hoping for DNC Merits this update so the past couple of weeks I been casually working on Capping my store of Merits ready for the update and I managed at some point this week.
Last night we did Dyna-Tav, again another not so awesome run in regards to drop although Hydra Beret dropped which I kinda wanted for WHM Resting, seem's nobody else who was there wanted it so I got <3 and my lot was pro I guess I Truly am Evil?!!?

So like, yea, I've been slacking on updates again >.<; meh lol.
Been doing the usual Dyna, Limbus, Ein, Nyzul, Salvage stuff, well I say Salvage stuff I actually ran out of my stockpile of Assault points last week which sucked majorly so there went last weeks runs for me lol >.<;
Dyna finally smiled upon me and gave me a SMN Body, putting my SMN 5/5 now so big YAY there.
Saturday we did a Tav run, and wow another bullshit Tav run at that, only things we got were MNK head which auto dropped to me which ended up somewhere on Tav Floor! PLD body which I think went to Aldem, I kinda forget, and then this:

This upcoming update has me looking forward to it quite a lot, Esp the Ein changes, getting in more Odin's is gonna be awesome (All being the 3 Mule rotation actually works out!) Also todays info on these new spawned NM's that you get trigger's for with points from an NPC sounds like a bloody awesome idea in theory, but this is SE, getting points will no doubt be a HUGE painful and annoying grind, and the end result will be no drops (Low ass drop rate) or drops on the scale of Hydra, in otherwords, COMPLETE SHIT! But I'm still hopeful.
I'm thinking this update is gonna be the final closing of ToAU which they said we'd get "In the new year" last year before Wings was released. So i'm actually hoping and crossing all my fingers this will also add the Prime fight(s) for the Avatar(s) within ToAU since the final Mission CS did lead us to believe this would come eventually!

So Yesterday I woke up feeling really really crappy, dunno wtf is wrong but my throat feel like I have been eating Razor Blades :( I can't even talk lol it sucksssssssss!
Anyway FFXI:
This week I finally got my DNC to 75, and I'm thinking thats it for me and exp-ing jobs I think I'll just be merit onry exp-wise. Since theres like next to no low lvl PT's (Hell /sea all 73-75 inv a lot of times this week gave a result of 7!) I don't wanna sit seeking forever and it's too much effort to bug people to join a PT lol.

Campaigning a lil on DNC just for fun as Tanking campaign mobs is kinda nice and easy exp, anyway in Rolanberry the other day Sandworm was at the tower on a killing spree was hilarious, some 75 RDM died to it like 6 times trying to solo, thing loses hate pretty easily tho I got hate and ran off and it lost interest and never bothered with me again lol.
And now the good stuff, last night Omega > Ein (Odin run FINALLY!).
Omega gave us a Body, which I personally haven't seen in a damn long ass time, Camui is looking spiffy with that :D
And for Odin, this was quite possibly the most fun BCNM I've done in FFXI, it was awesome, and made even more awesome that I actually got to be SMN (Gotta love stuff where SMN is awesome)

So just about to go to bed, decided meh lets port to LJ whilst waiting for meds to kick in =P
So nothing much going on this week, Doing another run of T3's in Ein to get the last few Stragglers the wins they need and we (At least the plan is anyway) aim to knockout Odin next week. Hoping that will go well and we can get some people some nice Abj's that they want and maybe some nice Odin items for some peeps too, I like seeing people get nice items makes me happy so looking forward to seeing people get some cool shit there!
Nyzul didnt happen this week someone overslept...and no it actually wasn't me!
At some point this week Raiko found Sandworm in Saruta [S], sure it has no point, sure it has no drops, but doing it with a PT of 6 was actually kinda fun, Yea I like doing stupid things to kill time (See the Laila BCNM lol) and also it had more bonus points to the enjoyable factor since I could mess around on SMN, well I say Mess around was more Nether Blast spam but still was fun!
LS Has changed the way it does Salvage now, and the way its setup now is actually awesome imo, instead of us having a buttload of people and splitting for 2 runs everyones made their own Statics which should work out really well, granted its not much good for me since I could only go on Sundays but meh I guess, and also the fact never know if I'm gonna be KO'd or in Hospital for anything so don't really wanna commit to an Event static as it wouldn't be fair on others.
That being said I still think it's a good idea and should see everyone come out with Salvage items much faster, all being they actually drop!

9:26 am - Fun couple of weeks
|
Yea the past couple of weeks on FFXI Have been pretty fun. All the Usual events, going on and going well and Ein we started Wing 3 on Saturday, well we are now 2/3 on Wing 3 Wins and thats a 2:2 win Ratio so a big NICE there :D
So to start with one late night I was totally bored and decided I'd go camp that NM in LoO that drops Kard, Yea Kard is pretty meh for everything EXCEPT DNC. 5CHR On it is actually pretty nice, sure it wont stay on me forever esp now I'm 71 (Yea havent really been exp'ing lately) but still its nice.
Took me like 30 mins to get the NM to pop and it fucked me over truly lol so asked on LS if anyone was bored, Rhea and Spot came to Help and Malar was gonna after he dropped something off, well it was dead before Malar finished =P Rhea pretty much > it solo made my THF Feel all that more gimp lol =P But ya Huge thanks to those for coming to help me with it esp considering LoO Is miles away in the middle of nowhere lol!
Finally got myself a Nyzul Static, really happy about that again Rhea to the rescue there lol I wanna get myself some Denali to gear out my COR and also Denali legs for DNC too. Just means that sadly I gotta cut down 4 Salvage Runs a week to 2 or 3 but still awesome I'm going to be able to do both now :D
First night we got Goliard Saio drop it seems nobody in the static is wanting Goliard as I got it on nobody else actually wanting it, however I do think I want the Feet =P

So i'm completely bored atm, nothing going on much really, also pissed off, someone made a comment about me being mean last night lol...Yea if helping everyone on LS who asks for help and turning up to pretty much every event including retarded hour ones is mean, Then Yea I'm just the Devil incarnate....people need to pay attention to shit before commenting on stuff!
But hey doing jack shit keeping your mouth shut and only showing up for stuff you can benefit from is classed as "nice" well I guess I don't wanna be a nice person then!
Cannot stand selfish cunts who only show up to Events that might drop something they want, and even worse is they seem to slip by on the Radar for saying jack shit and kissing ass!

So DNC is 70 finally, Curing Waltz 4 is pretty awesome shame it makes Waltz Recast time like 12 seconds.

So whilst doing some Campaign Battles was doing on in Grauberg that was going on for hours literally...I left it when the 9th Wave was incoming, and no thats not an Exageration lol!
During this Campaign like 10 Quadav Shieldwarriors showed up, The ones that usually drop the Iron Bombs and Warp. Well this time they stood in the Far corner and sat summoning for like 1.5 minutes.
Well they Summon Belfry's
 
Belfry's are not too hard to get rid of if you have a lot of people wailing on it, but if you're not getting it down fast enough it repeatedly summons Khroma Quadavs which can get annoying lol
And finally....YAY /psych motion is useful again!

So it took me like a Week to get back into playing my "Normal" play routine on FFXI, so wasn't all as bad as I thought it would be, was thinking take awhile...
Well what have I been upto?
I've actually been doing quite a lot of Campaign Battle's, I actually enjoy these when they last awhile, some still don't last all that long, but the ones that do are totall worth it, also been doing my Campaign Op's Daily. I just got my 4th Medal now, "Allied Medal of Glory"
Salvage on Thursday was cool except for the fact as soon as We entered our second run SE decide to announce an emergency maint, within an hour...way to give notice...
During first run I got 2 Kill shots on Lomsky whilst I was a frog!!
Currently sitting on a 41 Dancer, Trying to exp more but seeking is so redundant, I predicted that if they only added 2 new jobs, seeking would be just as crap as ever at the lower levels, and it is!
Throwing skill blows:
Last nights Einherjar was damn awesome, we got our 2nd ever Abjuration Drop, N.Head!!! Only me and Virgil was lotting for it and to my surprise I actually won with a gimp 500-something lot!
Just cuz I was too lazy to pose on THF with it, Did BRD lol >.>
After Ein, went for a run in Dyna-Tav, was kinda meh, considering how awesome our recent Tav's have been this was disappointing, not one AF drop ;;

So like lately you may have not seen me on FFXI (I.E Past 3-4 days) And likely wont see me on much late atm, I was in hospital late tuesday night, found out the Muscles around my heart are all inflamed.
So I spent like what? 2 more days in Hospital to be given an insane amount of painkillers which did nothing but make me dizzy and sick lol...fucking NHS blows...
Then they are like we send you home now with analgesics (I think I butchered that spelling) as we need the beds! Yea L-O-L. I mean right its only my heart? Not like I need that taken care of >.>
Hopefully be back to normal play routine ASAP...

So its Been a couple of Weeks since I last posted anything, you'd think a lot has gone on but really, nothing much, did the Usual, Dynamis/Limbus/Einherjar/Salvage runs and stuff aswell as a few Baha V2's in between.
Dynamis has been kinda nice to us lately regarding items, Also a DL run which proceeded in giving Del a Nice Ring^^
Got Expansion on Thursday 22nd, and at first I was kinda unimpressed, honestly and I think I'm in mass agreement with the FFXI Populus that there's too much slow pain in the ass running all over the place.
That aside, after a day or so, I got into Campaign and am now loving this expansion, sure I still have no F-ing idea how half of Campaign works, hell make that most of it, all I know is how to take part, kick some beastmen ass and have fun, thats all that matters right?!
Dancer:
Well I have been wanting this job added to FFXI since I started a little over 3 years ago, people was like "What?! WTF is Dancer" and "Dancer...lolgay"
When they announced Dancer would be a job for WotG Expansion, I was overjoyed, I didn't care how it would play out I just knew I would level it regardless.
Well, to put it bluntly, DNC is bloody awesome. It's a hell of a lot of fun to play and actually pretty powerful in terms of healing, and even being an off/backup tank, Hell go /WAR and you Have TWO Vokes at lvl 20+.
Well with it being as awesome as it stands atm theres like on average over 150 DNC playing at any given time, so making PT's is still as redundant as ever as looking at people seeking its usually one random mage, one random melee and like 10ish DNC lol! So I been mainly solo/duo my levels, sitting at 25 atm and can't wait to get it higher, I'm not gonna be one of these mad rush people who must aim to be "The first person who" "The first NA" "the first EU" etc etc...who gives a shit if you're the first player to not do anything else, sleep 2hours a day and hit 75 on DNC?! lol I know for one I don't give a shit I'd rather enjoy things.
Meh, in closing on DNC, I love it! lol.

Well now this, I am truly unimpressed with, at the low levels it seems to me to be pretty meh, when I PT'd with one in the 3 PT's I actually had on DNC I've been left thinking "WTF is the use of this job?" Honestly, take away the fact its gonna end up being a "Theres no RDM or WHM seeking invite SCH to heal" I cannot see much use in it...Unless those DoT's at higher levels are as good as I'm hoping, I'm kinda assuming this will be the next "lol" job to go up there with PUP and DRG (Take no offence to this I like PUP's...and to some extent a rare amount of DRG's who actually work at the job and make it awesome)
I actually hope i'm wrong on this job...We'll see in time I guess.
Whilst levelling on DNC some RMT PT decided to come camp on top of me and my Duo Buddy Jet. They got pissed off we was literally outclaiming them on Pop's that they started Bot claiming them, Yes they was Bot claiming Goblins...So f-ing sad that they are so desperate to get back into monopolizing end-game they are bot claiming exp to make it faster lol!
Called a GM and had 121 Calls in front of me >.> but within 5 minutes literally an SGM Contacted me, with me explaining how I'd be locked out on Mobs and yet they could claim it so it would pop purple for them the GM supsected what I did, and pretty much popped on us!
Finally yesterday, got my final piece of Marduk Legs, the 100% Drop level 15 piece, now this is the most retarded thing I've come across in Salvage, basically going after the NM for those = a 60minute+ waste of the rest of a run, you need to get to 4th floor like before 30 minutes, then after you do NM you are more than likely SOL on time to do Boss, unless you take like 12+ people who can wail on Gears, but then again with the dumbass time limit to get to the 4th floor frog its likely half of your team are not gonna be geared.

I so hope those Shoes are a mistake...
So anyway, I got SAM to 37, went from 23 to 37 in like a couple of days thanks to Duo-ing with Jet and him PL-ing us both on another Account. So now have that sorted as a Subjob, I'm now putting off doing DRK for SJ atm, I'm not feeling to much into the exp-ing thing atm (I think Jet spoiled me with PL lol making it super fast!)

So last night we did Dynamis Tav, and before we did I was bitching to my Friend Claire about how sucky Tav drops are lol. Well, Fuck me, Seriously last night we had the most AMAZING run, I was shocked.
Firstly we got a DRG Helm, I was like lol figures the only drop we gonna get is a damn DRG, (Went to Aldem BTW So Grats there) but then not long after, Hydra Moufles dropped! Sweet! (Malar got) Then not long after that Hydra Gloves dropped only me and Rishi lotted for those Rishi got! Then we got Hydra Sollerets (Rishi) then BLM-1 Pants (Vivix) And then:
YAY!!! And finally for last drop with 3 minutes to go Hydra Haubert making our 3rd one in LS (Raiko got)
I think you'll agree that is one amazing run!
Thats pretty much all for this post except I got PUP to 37, whilst I was solo-ing crap in Qufim I saw the Goblin Bounty Hunter's doing their job and chasing RMT, dunno if you can make this image out but in the distance the bounty hunter is chasing RMT Towards Delkfutt's lol
